Don't let one message sway you one way or the other. I can assure you that our lab is busier than a one-armed paper hanger.
Sleep Techs can find openings around the country. Compared to other fields, we're in a very good position right now.
As for the patient numbers being down, how far down? Too often nowdays hospitals are being run by people with bottom-line mentalities. I would just remind them that contrary to popular belief, not everyone has cancer or heart disease, but most everyone sleeps, or would like to sleep well.
