My firm and I looked at MDB as a potential marketing channel for our medical device and we found some disturbing information.
First, they claim to have this massive database with data from thousands of hospitals. I don't see how that can be true.
We were skeptical of their claims and we suggested letting an independent third party verify that their claim of 1300 hospitals participated in their network.
They were pretty hostile to our suggestion that we have someone neutral verify that the database, and we were abruptly shut off when asked if we could discuss our questions with other vendors.I thought it a little strange, just fyi.
