Neuro Doc feels kinda bad,. following the EP study
which showed severe V-Tach (VT is always severe.)
Internal Devib unit had to be placed. While under medication they had to place an ET tube and his throat still caused some problems with closing. thats when he was trached.
Last Evening when I went to check on patient I was told he was having a thyroid storm. (poor Kid)
My protocol is just setting forth terms to admitting patients to CCU or ICU when desats can not be regulated and V-Tach with runs being frequent and lasting longer than 5 seconds Doc is to be notified. Crash cart is being placed in Sleep Lab so I can start the Code while Crash team is responding.
