We've seen the same problem time and time again. It seems that we've exhausted every option at our disposal yet some patients still have a poor response to both CPAP and BiPAP. It seems that the only conclusion that can be drawn is that for these patients neither CPAP nor BiPAP would be indicated and other treatment options would need to be explored.
