Hell, I am an IDTF and we aren't subject to any licensure requirements at all. Didn't stop me from hiring RTs as my techs, but if I wanted to go on the cheap, I probably could have saved $20,000 a year by hiring bums off the street and training them from scratch. All the LMRP says is that the studies must be attended by trained qualified individuals....leaves A LOT of room for interpretation.
