This is our staffing ratio. Each tech acquires two pts per night (scoring on the fly as much as possible), completes leftover scoring, strip and make beds, and wash the linen in the morning before leaving the clinic, the M.D. reads them at 1300 hrs during the week (except on Mondays he starts reading at 0800 hrs to catch up the weekend pts), dictations are printed and in the chart by COB on the day of the interp. Our tech are scheduled 3 12 hr shifts per week but sometimes work 10-14 hours depending on need.
