Posted by LittlePerplexed on August 25, 2002 at 01:06:39:Our labs Director says we do not need a back up rate on our Cpap/BiPap machines. She says she has called 6 of the large labs and was told this wasnt needed.
I think this is not correct. I do not believe she is telling me the truth.
her comment was "how many actual central apneics are there really."
Well in the past 5 months I have had 16 patients with central apnea.
Do you guys have backup rates on your Cpap/Bipap machines?
