I feel it is just about split in half and both qualify just about equally, as long as you aren't just only an apnea clinic. It probably wouldn't hurt for the other field to learn about the other just for some understanding of what is happening. We have had this talk so many times before. If you have no background in either, and you go through a course that teaches both then you should be as equally qualified as board eligible until you pass your exam. RRT's should not think that just because it has OSA and O2, CPAP... that it is "their entity" there is a lot more to it than that.
