You forgot paradoxing belts for UAR.
Also, I thought the desat needed for a HYP was 3%... I could be wrong.
You hit the nail on the head as far as "may not necessarily "look" quite like a 30% reduction" Thermistors/thermocouples are not sensitive enough to base a percentage of reduction, just as an apnea coud have some residual air flow signal left.... the important thing is to look at the study and decide if obstructed breathing is causing a sleep disturbance (repetative arousals with desats)... if you think so.. try CPAP. If they sleep better, you probably (95% sure) solved their problem.
