Exactly, we have to remember that the airflow and respiratory effort (i.e. thermocouple + piezocrystal belts) are CRUDE signals. Since they aren't calibrated channels, we have to look at even slight changes in airflow and respiratory effort and consider it significant if it causes an arousal and/or a desat.
