Please...I would like to know which insurances only allow "one study per lifetime."
I once worked at a hospital performing sleep studies (in the sleep lab) and the hospital's medical insurance would not pay for any sleep studies, even ones performed in the same hospital for employees! That was insane!
I've worked in facilities that give meds and others that do not. Any drug protocol like that should be written by the medical director.
