I have fallen asleep behind the wheel too many times to count. Its always on my way home from the lab. The latest episode was 2 weeks ago...I woke up driving on wet grass on the right shoulder of the road about 35 mph. I know its dangerous but like you, I feel OK until it hits me. I don't have a sleep disorder (I hope). I am not sleepy at any other time. I have pulled over and slept at a rest stop on my way home.
