You know, maybe the physician just wants to see if you will humor his request.
I would not give the physician a hard time about it. I would do a full head hookup with all the EMG channels for about a 37 channel montage to say: We're versatile and have the technical skill to not only do what you ask, but go above and beyond the request. You are not going to be doing very many of these studies so hook it all up and enjoy the experience.
