Well, there is danger in questioning an order out
of ignorance.
From Handbook of Sleep Disorders by Dr Thorpy;
RBD chapter; Clinical/Lab Evaluation:
"Although the diagnosis may be suspected clinically, extensive PSG employing a full seizure
montage at paper speed of 15 mm/s, monitoring of all four limb extremities, and continuous AV recordings are mandatory."
Kudos to the previous post that outlined nicely what is required for this study, regardless of the time involved.
