Hi, yes it's me. adding my measly 2.5 cents worth.
It is a good discussion topic. A way for us all to learn.
You obviously have to work with whatever resources you have in a realistic manner.
That said, it is clear from several sleep texts, including the ICSD, that noc seizures and other neurologic disorders are part of the differential for RBD. Several of the texts strongly state that expanded EEG on the PSG is needed, but some texts don't state it so strongly. (for the former, see Sleep Medicine by Lee-Chiong et al and
Handbook of Sleep Disorders by Thorpy; for the latter, see Principles and Practices, Kryger, Roth, Dement).
