This is an interesting and helpful subject. The only thing I usually do different with a RBD patient (and it's not too time consuming) is
1)Pad the bed rails
2)Synchronized video (usually done anyway)
3)Add arm EMG
4)Add temporal electrodes T3, T4.

Usually adding T3 and T4 are adequate for me because most nocturnal seizures (& most seizures in general) have a temporal focus. The motor strip should be covered with C3/C4 and T3/T4.
