Posted by RPSGT on November 15, 2002 at 04:02:26:My physician would like reasons why polysomnograms are better than those SNAP home sleep study tests that only analyze snoring, airflow and SaO2. Reasons he could give other physicians as to why they should order full polysomnograms instead of Snap tests.
Can we come up with different theoretical patients who would be missed or overlooked if screened with a 3-parameter Snap test?
Thanks
