-Patients with UARS that may not desat enough to qualify as a hypopnea, but still have fractured sleep.
-Patients with PLMD
-Theres no way to quantify how bad OSA is without knowing how fractured the sleep is.
These are just a few off the top of my head....If I really thought about it, I could probably come up with a ton more.
