Do your physicians ever try the 'stamp test' on the patients before referring them for an NPT?
Sometimes, in order to save the patient from the embarrassment and expense of having the test, they will recommend this.
If you haven't heard of the stamp test (which you probably have), the patient is basically instructed to put a roll of stamps around their
shaft--if they wake up and the connections are broken, it's psychological, if it isn't broken, it's organic. Granted, this isn't the most reliable way to test for this, but I know many reputable doctors who will do this before referring a patient for an NPT. Just a thought.
