How is the quoted system "digital video" when they are providing a 12 inch video monitor for video? Most systems have have been demoed and have used integrate the video picture onto the patient data screen. Are the providing synchroized video or an analog option? I'd say $14,000 per bed is a great deal. The average price per system we were quote from about four vendors was $22,000. See if you can get them to provide flat screens. Makes all the difference in tight control rooms. Remember you get what you pay for, so carefully look at what they are providing versus some other vendors. The quote sounds very low and a great deal. Go for it!!
