Basically, a higher video or video sample rate will equate to a better correlation of patient behavior and physiological signs (i.e. facial/finger twitches in relation to Sz propagation). If you have a "poor man's" video software its vey difficult to interprete the patient data in relation to what is "appearing" on video. We use the a similar vendor's system in our EMU that has a much higher video rate, and it works great.
