Thanks Bob: I have already decided to use the half-page with the one second jumps. You're right, it's not ideal but it is better than getting migraine headaches from the flickering screen.
We have been seeking a solution to the flicering/hesitation for a year now. The Embla field tech just spent a couple days with us. Finally they admitted that this is what happens with all Somnologica-3 sleep systems, and that there is no way to fix this. Supposedly they are working on this and may be using the Rembrandt system to help this problem now that they have merged with Med Care.
I hope nobody else is considering buying Somnologica: Flickering tracings, not flexible at all (only 16 channels, no re-referencing A1/A2, no oxygen input for reports, amps only go to 200HZ so it's hard to see spindles, you must use a position sensor also.)
I just wish they would have been honest and upfront about their system. They already had this system when I started here and won't fork out the money to buy a decent sleep system.
