In my opinion, and not intended to personally attack others, I'm kind of sick and tired of people carrying on about their low registry ##'s and how hard the old test was, etcetera. Just because someone is #0 or what not does not automatically make them all-knowledgable. Yeah, the old test was likely better, but whether someone passed the old test or the new test should not be used for criteria in deciding who the stronger tech is or who has more knowledge. Our field changes constantly. I know some techs who are brilliant in their profession and have been doing it since the early 80's, and they aren't registered, although they should be. I know some bright students fresh out of PSG school who would put any OTJer or seasoned techs to shame. Let's be careful not to jump to any conclusions here.
