Outside labs

Posted by SuzieQ on March 04, 2003 at 15:05:18:

I'm so glad to see the forums open again! I was hoping to get some opinions on non-hospital-based sleep labs. For those of you who work in a freestanding lab:
1)Do you have a crash cart?
2)What do you do for O2?
3)What do you do in case of a Code? Do you call an ambulance?
4)What kind of liabilities do you have?

Also-has anyone had any experience with opening a sleep lab in a hotel?
I am looking for pros and cons of freestanding labs and pros and cons of hotel-based labs.
