I ojt'd in this field. But that was over 20 years ago. I'm sorry if you have been belittled and made to feel as less of a Technologist due to your ojt background sleepygirl. I can remember being browbeat for my lack of a BA.
The sad fact is that there are labs around the country not giving people adequate training. If we are to consider ourselves medical professionals we must have programs just like Nursing or Respiratory Therapy.
That Idaho statute sounds very interesting. If we had at least that across the country I would be satisfied. Anything that requires someone to get their registry is a good thing IMO.
