Can't do that. The Alice 3 has a powered headbox and so uses an electret microphone. Since Nihon Kohden does not have a powered headbox, the electret microphones will not work unless you provide a power source for them.

I work at Pro-Tech, I know what you mean about the Snore Sensors, they are piezo devices that sense vibration, not sound. There is a new microphone just released last month that will fill your needs, just ask whoever you get your supplies from about trying it out.
