Hey, that is a good thought: a separate branch of the JCAHO to inspect all sleep centers charging medicare/medicaid for testing patients. If one does not have a passing inspection, one does not get paid for those tests. Then the only ones not being routinely inspected would be the ones not doing medicare patients. It could be possible to have insurance companies also jumping in and not paying if there is not some sort of accreditation or inspection.
