Patients want a healthcare provider who is college educated. That's how most people/patients justify the expense of paying for a polysomnogram. I only have a two year degree and some of my patients seem to question or feel uneasy about whether I'm justified to do my job. With the cost of healthcare, being trained on the job isn't enough. That is a thing of the PAST.
