We score it as a baseline and note the attempt at CPAP and lack of tolerance and/or compliance. We note whether CPAP was effective for the brief period of time it was on and suggest giving the pt a loaner unit set at 3 cwp to use at home to assist with desensitization. Bring patient back after 2 weeks of desensitization and try a full titration.
