I think is unreasonable to require every tech to be registered. However I agree that it should be the goal! As I stated before you have to give them the proper training first and the OJT time so They can become registered. Eventually the goal is that they all become registered but to require it at the beginning is almost impossible. I do think there needs to be guidelines but within reason. Some of the guidelines out there require a Respiratory liscense and I think that is ridiculous! There are some states that I can not practice even though I have had over ten years experience and I am a RPSGT.
