Posted by Stephanie on January 27, 2005 at 19:37:45:When I wake up in the mornings, more often than not I take a deep breath in, only to feel sharp pain in my lungs. Am I not breathing deep enough during the night? I suffer from severe allergies (three shots per week) mild asthma, sinusitis, blast a humidifier directly on my face at night, have horrible morning breath despite using mouthwash prior to sleep, & use my inhaler directly before sleeping. I am constantly (I mean 24 hours a day) congested, no medicines work for me. Would I benefit from a sleep study?
I sleep about 7 hours per night consistently, but still feel tired in the morning. I have to drag myself out of bed even after sleeping 12 hours on weekends. I have a feeling my Circadian cycle is backward as I am a night owl, but that would not explain the lung pain...my doctor dismissed it.
