Posted by Phil McCracken on January 28, 2005 at 08:17:42:We are a small hospital considering a sleep lab and are looking outside the hospital network to hire a Medical Director who will most likely oversee the Sleep Lab from afar (ie might make it onsite 1X a week). We can forward studies via the internet so that is not a problem.
My question is, what questions do we ask him during the interview process. What is the normal charge for the services he will provide? Does he need any special requirements other than being Sleep certified? Any other questions we should be asking? Thanks for any help!
