Hey feelin' blue, you're right on for inquiring about the salary IN YOUR AREA since a sleep techs pay varies widely across the nation.
Take a look at www.salary.com, this is what it said for Trenton although there were several choices in NJ.
The median expected salary for a typical Polysomnographic Technician in Trenton, NJ is $41,714.
My own experience with salary.com is it reports lower than average salaries. Although it does have "polysomnography technician" listed, it doesn't differentiate for experience or dual credentials, etc... On the other hand, what it came up with for Trenton is pretty close to the $19/hr that someone already posted.
