It depends where in New Jersey you live, In central and southern jersey you will make less, than northern New Jersey closer to New York. But in General you should not make less than $25.00 an hour.

But, I'm told several sleep companies, ie; sleep tech. or sleep care tend to pay their employees much less. It is better to work at an hospital base lab. If you are a respiratory therapist You will automatically be paid higher.

With your experience, you should not be making less than $30.00 dollars and hour, especially if you are in northern new jersey.

In New York RPSGT with Respiratory experience, don't settle for less than at least $30.OO.

Plus many of the hospitals offer free tuition and other perks. The cost of living is higher on the east coast don't improve your resume and earn more. Sleep Techs are needed.
