We just did a study that showed, for wives of apneics, 60% of couples sleep apart (at least sometimes) as compared to 20% of controls. 100% of obstructive sleep apneics snore but not all snorers are apneics. Ear plugs and UPPP surgery for your husband are about the only options other than tolerating it or sleeping apart. Some people elect UPPP surgery to control snoring alone. (90% effective). However as you've undoubtedly read here, your husband should have a sleep study first to rule out sleep apnea.
