and slow reaction, a sleeping driver has no judgement and no reaction!
My son, Michael age 18, was senselessly killed by a fatigued big rig driver on 12/29/95. This 80t vehicle went left of center striking 4 passenger vehicles (Mike was in car 1) head-on, killing 2 (the driver of the 2nd vehicle Stewart age 29, there were two victims lifeflighted and 9 needing emergency room treatment.
If you're sleepy and driving PLEASE STOP! Stay awake and arrive alive.
In 1995 there were 4,903 fatalities from crashes involving big rigs, my son is included in that statistic. We're all at risk! SIGNS OF FATIGUE
have you been tailgating?, are you changing lanes for no apparent reason?, are you having a difficult time maintaining a constant speed?, are you braking for no apparent reason?, are you driving on the white lines?, have you drifted onto the shoulder of the roadway?, are you constantly shifting in your seat?, did you roll down your window
