The best thing to do is contact other sleep centers in your area. Most important is customer service and how quickly they respond to system problems. Most computer systems
do the same thing as far as collecting data. It is after collection that they have a few different bells and whistles. The best information
would come from other customers in your area. You should be able to uses a demo machine for a period of
time to see how it works for you. The most importand thing is how the data looks on the screen
and the speed of review. You will have to manually score from the screen. Most sytems offer auto scoring but none!!!! can score sleep accuratly. No matter
what studies they have done trust me the process is to intuitive for a computer using the R&K rules.
How easy is it to manual score. That is important. Let them bring in a system and score, score, and score. Do not feel
bad about telling them you want to try another system before you decide. In the end you may get a
better deal on the one you want.
