Posted by GARY on September 14, 1997 at 21:14:54:Well I've just about tried everything, from endocrine, blood & hormonal tests. I've spend three nights in a professional sleep clinic. I don't have apnea, snore or restless legs. I am on my 3rd set of epilepsy prevention medication (I don't suffer from epilepsy, it's only a preventive measure)
I've had an overnight eeg and the only odd thing that has come from this is an unusual spiking that comes in runs during the first or second sleep phase depraving me from enough REM sleep.
I've considered going for chronic fatigue syndrome tests but I believe this subject is just as vague.
The only thing physically wrong with me is that I had my thyroid removed about 14 years ago but I am on medication.
Is there anybody out there with a similar problem?
Any advice to shed some light on the subject will help.
Thanks, Gary.
