I think I experience the same thing as you. Mine started about 6 months ago. It usually only happens when I take a nap during the day, but it has happened in the middle of the night as well. I wake up and the only thing I can move is my eyes. I struggle to make a sound or move my arms but I can't. When this happens I will eventually be able to move my legs to get loose or fall back asleep. It usually happens three episodes at a time. Recently, I have felt like I was unable to breathe when I woke up, and I would try to blow air out and eventually I could breathe again. If anyone has any information about this please let me know. I used to be scared when it happened, but now I know it will pass. Of course, when I can't breathe it is still very frightening. I wonder if these episodes are dangerous/harmful?
