Hi Charlene!

Looks like you're going tho the old "treat 'em
till I get the yatch payment" routine. Doctors
don't make any money curing a condition, they
only make money treating a condition, and the
more things they do to "diagnose" a conditon,
the more money they make. Yep, you're right,
I am bitter and disenchanted with the medical
"profession".

Here's a suggestion. Find a nurse practitioner. They
They are nurses in private practice, and can write
prescriptions, including valium. My experience
has been, from knowing three nurse practtitioners,
and going to more doctors than I can count, that
nurse practitioners will **listen** to their
patients, and ****will do something**** for them.
Second, get copies of your medical records from
the medical base. They are your records, you're
entitled to them. If they really want to be
horses' rectums, you can have your medical
professional get them. In fact, if you get the
right medical professional, she can *call* the
base, and talk with the treating medical professional.
And, actually, in all likely hood, she will write
you a prescription for 14 valuim while she's waiting
for the information. (That seems to be about
the amount you'd need to start treatament.)
Fourteen valium certainly
isn't going to get you hooked, and, at 5 mg, it's
obvious you are not just trying to get a fix. I just
cannot belive that a doctor is putting you tho
all this, when the solution is so simple. Well,
yes, I guess I can. After all, they need to fund
their pension plans if they're going to retire at
40, and they do need to make the payments on the
yatch and the second vacation home, and . . .
Anyway, Charlene, good luck, hope you find
a real medical professional soon.
Shelia
