It is extrodinarily rare to not get ANY sleep. Is is extrodinarily common to percieve yourself as getting no sleep. Common causes of very little sleep are depression, manic/depression, drug interactions, and stress. That said, it is widely known that your brain will get the sleep it requires to keep you alive, even if it has to do so a few seconds at a time around the clock. Your best advice is GET THEE TO A SLEEP SPECIALIST! Check out SLEEPNET.COM for hundreds of links on the internet. The professional society for physicians interested in sleep is the ASDA, the American Sleep Disorders Association.
