I've talked to several hundred people using nasal pillows over the years and find that just like getting used to the pressure of the nose pads on eyeglasses, some people will get sore during the "break-in" period. Just be sure that you are not allergic the the rubber material or the soap you clean the pillows in. You should be fine after the delicate skin at the end of the nostrils toughens up a bit.
