I am a freshman in college for the first time this year, and it is my first time living away from home. I have never had trouble sleeping before. I've slept (and slept well) in almost every imaginable situation, but for some reason, I can't get to sleep in my dorm room. It's not a matter of being tired enough, and the dorm is quiet enough to sleep. The problem is I will lie in bed for hours (three or four) before I get to sleep. When I finally do sleep, I wake up in a few short hours, or the sleep is not a deep sleep. Can anyone suggest how to overcome this, or suggest some possible problems that might be the cause of my situation? Any help is greatly appreciated!
