I have the same thing, only when I first start to fall asleep.
It is sometime so severe my head hurts and it wakes me up.
I have mentioned to my eye doctor but not my doctor. I described it as
if you are being electrocuted, the noise that would make.
Or if you touched live wires.Have you found anything out yet?
